Doug has been writing content for outdoor adventure brands for over four years. He studied English/Journalism at UNH where he developed creative writing skills that helped form the writer he is today. Doug understands how effective a blog can be for a brand because it can effectively increase website traffic, conversion rate and aids in constantly building relationships with new & existing customers.
Along with content writing, Doug also has experience with email marketing, social media marketing and Facebook & Instagram advertising. Understanding these digital marketing channels has allowed Doug to leverage his blogs to perform the best they can.
Doug currently manages ISLE Surf & SUP’s blog where he writes one blog post a week on schedule with a monthly content cluster that’s curated from researched industry topics. The topics he researches are based off of high and low volume keywords in the paddle board industry. Over the course of managing ISLE’s blog, Doug has written many blog posts that rank #1 on Google’s SERP and many blog posts that rank on the first page of the SERP. He averages 50,000 sessions to the blog every month.
